MTS Industrial Sensors

 Temposonics position sensors for industrial applications are developed for external mounting or in-cylinder applications where the electronics can be external.  Stroke lengths are available from 25mm - 20m. The sensors offer analog output or dual output (position and velocity) with SSI, DeviceNet, CANbut, Profibus, Ethernet IP and Ethercat interface.  High quality displacement and velocity signals enable superior control.  Different sensor models and options (multi position measurement, redundant sensors, ATEX-approval) meet every need - from high precision measurement tasks to simple standard applications.

R Series

G/GB Series

Programmable sensors for Temposonics backward compatibility.  G/GB Series sensors are designed for backward compatibility to previous Temposonics products, but with the addition of built-in diagnostics, field programmability, and upgraded performance. G/GB-Series sensors feature a microprocessor-based design with enhanced diagnostics and programmability, offering the flexibility to fit a wide range of applications. One of the primary benefits is the direct backward compatibility for retrofitting legacy sensor models. G-Series sensors are available with analog outputs (voltage or current) or digital-pulse outputs (Start/Stop or PWM).

E Series

Effective and efficient for basic position feedback.  E Series sensors offer the benefits of magnetostrictive position sensing in an economical package suitable for standard linear position application.  The E-series is the basic sensor in the product range of magnetostrictive position sensors. Its excellent price-performance ratio is an unbeatable asset even for traditional users of different position measurement technologies.

A Series

A Series linear encoders feature a dual output to provide both an absolute SSI position feedback as well as an analog or digital incremental encoder signal.  Designed for automation applications, the A-Series can provide absolute position feedback to a PLC while simultaneously providing position and velocity feedback to a motor drive using an incremental encoder interface.
